Thank you for all the sponsorship so far! I successfully completed the British 10K on Sunday 11th July, running all the way in the heatwave we had in London, stopping only to queue for the toilets in order to avoid a Paul Radcliffe-like unnecessary public display...
As you all know, I am not particularly a fan of running, but volunteered to run for charity in the London 10K at short notice when some of the runners for the The Samson Centre dropped out. The Samson Centre is the home of the Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Group (Guildford), a help group for people affected by Multiple Sclerosis. We'd really appreciate any sponsorship - there are plenty more glamorous things I could be doing that I'd enjoy rather more (climbing mountains in Africa say) but this is for a really worthwhile cause.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page... donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the Samson Centre and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
