Less than a week to go now and on the count down. Not doing much road work this week - rather painful ankle :-( - have to put my faith in the training programme and the marathon gods and hope all goes well on Sunday.

Last 1/2 marathon yesterday before the big day - gale force winds added a new dimension :-( (That's my excuse for being a bit on the slow side).

Foiled by a blister yesterday .... First one I've had :-(. Was supposed to do 18 miles but only managed 10. Will be paying for that all week with more 'speed' work.

14.5 miles at the week-end - not a great time but still standing at the end. On the count-down now ... just over 4 weeks to go to race day.
