I am walking the 100km South Coast Challenge to raise funds for the important work carried out by St Thomas' Lupus Trust.

Our daughter, Emma, was diagnosed with SLE Lupus last year and spent a number of weeks in hospital. The condition still affects her daily life and it is our hope that the research undertaken by St Thomas' and others will result in a cure for this condition in the not too distant future.

The terrain of this challenge will make it the hardest yet but I am determined to complete it in order to raise the much needed funds. I have paid for the event entry myself so all money raised will go directly to St. Thomas'.
