Help! Those who think I should have been locked up years ago are about to have their wish granted. A reliable rumour ( I never reveal my sources!) has informed me that the Boys in Blue will be arriving with handcuffs at the ready to arrest me for my terrible crimes against journalism on Friday, December 4.
The whole family Christmas - including the first to be enjoyed by my beautiful new grand-daughter - is in jeopardy unless you can oil the wheels to secure my freedom, by donating as much cash as you are able for the St Nicholas Hospice, either via this site, or hard cash to the Weekly News office in Queen Street, Haverhill.
There are not many things I would be willing to sacrifice my freedom for, but St Nicholas Hospice Care is one. I am fortunate only to have discovered the warmth and compassionate care they offer their patients through helping promote the Weekly News Hospice at Home Appeal, which raised a fantastic £40,000 in just over a year, not through visiting or caring for a loved one as so many people do. Now I am hoping to put my money, and yours, where my mouth is and drum up some cash. Thank you in advance for helping. Lily is depending on you to save Christmas.
