Ever since I started running, many many moons ago at school , one of my dreams was to run a marathon. Well after a long break from running, having a family and a major knee op I thought it was time to try again!!

I have decided to run for a fantastic local charity, who myself and my daughter spend a lot of time with.The charity is called Extratime. Extratime is a registered charity that runs 3 after school clubs and associated holiday play schemes for young people with disabilities aged 11-19 years, based in mainstream youth centres.

These clubs and playschemes are fully inclusive, catering for children and young people of 5 - 19 years from both mainstream and special needs schools. The children and young people who come to us have a wide range of special needs; physical, learning and behavioural and we provide one-to-one support to those children and young people who need it.

My daughter has been going to these clubs for many years and they are a vital part of her life run by some amazing people who have also become our friends.

Please help me to raise as much money for this charity as possible as everything donated will be matched by my employer pound for pound!! I know things are tough at the moment so anything would be greatly appreciated.
