After applying for the London Marathon and being unsuccessful I thought that tick on my 'bucket list' would have to wait for another year. However, I became succesful in gaining one of the three places given to Aldridge Running Club. So there is no escape, the training has begun and I am currently the top purchaser in Voltarol muscle gel.
I lost my dear Dad 12 years ago to cancer at the age of 60. It became evident to us that there was a lack of local support for cancer patients. Since then I have completed a few runs and raised funds but, my dear Mom works tirelessly to raise money for Walsall Hospice which I am glad to say is now open to patients.
