Rosh and Joanne have made the momentous decision to cycle from London to Paris in our first year of marriage.

Why on earth would you do that I hear you say?

Well it is quite simple:

-it sounds like a great idea (you get to Paris for free with limited damage to the environment),

-we should get fit in the training (if we don't get crushed under a bus),

-we think our marriage will survive such a challenge (as long as Rosh gets there first),

-but most importantly it gives us the opportunity to raise money for Christian Aid.

As many of you know, Joanne has been working at Christian Aid for the last 6 years and while it may not seem that way this is the first time we have asked you to sponsor us..

Christian Aid is a fantastic international development agency.  It works with local organisations in more than 50 countries around the world focusing on bringing real and lasting change to the lives of some of the world's poorest people.  I have visited many of the countries where we work and I can assure you your money is going to a great cause.

Please give generously - we are expecting this to be tough; we are committing to 300 miles over 4 days in the saddle and all the aches, pains and sores that will bring.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
