Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My story begins in December 2015 when we visited Moorfields eye hospital for the first time, my wife Karen was diagnosed with a rare form of eye cancer, this came completely out of the blue and was a massive shock to us, Karen has since received a course of Proton beam therapy and is recovering very well, we have visited Moorfields many times since for regular check ups and will continue with these visits for many years to come, Moorfields have been fantastic and very reassuring for us on each visit, Karen is my inspiration to run this marathon with her positive attitude to beat this and we would like to raise as much money as we can to say thank you to Moorfields.

About the charity

We raise funds to enable Moorfields Eye Hospital to continue to provide the highest quality care for our patients and their families and to help ensure it remains a world-class centre of excellence for research and education. With your help we can deliver the best eye care and shape its future.
