Yes thats right I'm going to be walking along a 20ft path of red hot embers. Apparently the fire reaches a temperature of over 1236 degrees fahrenheit but it cools down to 800 degrees when you walk across it so it's fine really, even if you are a runner and will be in the middle of winter training. There are more details of the event on the website http://www.t4c.org.uk/move/
I'm not just doing this for the fun of it, I'm doing it to raise money for Move Europe. MOVE is an activity based programme which uses the combined knowledge of education, therapy and family to teach severely disabled children and adults the skills of sitting, standing, walking and transferring to the very best of their ability. Using a goal based approach the child/adult works towards agreed targets which range from being able to raise and hold their head independently, to being able to walk unaided or to play football using a pacer.

Anything that you can spare will be a great help.
Cheers
Joe
