I am planning to cycle the whopping 300km from London to Paris in March with some friends from work - Phil Long, James Allen-Perry and Hannah Streatfeild.
To make it all the more worthwhile I am trying to raise as much money as possible for Zimbabwe AIDS Orphans (ZAO). With 1.8 million of its 12 million population HIV positive and one of the lowest life expectancies in the world it is not surprising that Zimbabwe has a huge number of orphans - a shocking 800,000. ZAO works to provide some of the their basic needs such as food, clothing, medicine and schooling. For more information visit its website:

Thanks very much in advance for anything you are able to give. Joel
Here follows some blurb from justgiving:
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
