Vain? Attention-seeking? A phase? An eating disorder is none of these things, and with your help, I'm raising money to help those battling this terrible illness.
On Saturday 16th April at 10am, I will be throwing myself out of a plane at 10,000 feet with a parachute and a whole bag of nerves, to raise money for the National Eating Disorders Association (working name 'beat'.) Beat are invaluable in what they do. They provide crisis lines, mentoring services, and work constantly to fight public perceptions of eating disorders- that they are 'diets gone wrong', 'phases' or 'caused by the media', instead raising awareness of what is a debilitating and very genuine mental illness.
Please support me in raising for beat; I'd love to raise upwards of £1000. I've pasted the link to the site below- please, please support me in my fundraising.

A Young Ambassador for Beat had this to say.
"Working with beat has given me much comfort, release, confidence and acknowledgement that one person alone may not be able to shift such barriers, but as a team together... you can build up the friendship, courage, strength, support, ideas, will and self worth to keep fighting to break down the myths and gain treatment, care and respect for someone who has been affected by this serious illness. Together we can beat eating disorders."
