Story
I was alerted to the plight of people diagnosed with brain tumours back in 2004 by a constituent and led the first adjournment debate on brain tumours in the House of Commons. It was a shock to learn that more children and people under the age of 40 die of a brain tumour than from any other cancer. Since 2004 I have been involved with brain tumour charity, Ali's Dream and, from 2009, also with Brain Tumour Research.
Brain Tumour Research is holding a Marathon Sport Challenge in Buckingham on 13th October and I am already in training for my swimming challenge. It would be great if you could help raise much needed funds for this very deserving cause. Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
