On sunday 25th April 2010 I will be taking part in the Virgin London Marathon, having completed a few half marathons this will be my first attempt at the 26.2 mile full marathon distance.

I wanted to raise money for a local charity so I will be running in support of Ashgate Hospice http://www.ashgatehospice.org, my target is to raise over £1,000 in return I will be running 4/5 times per week come rain, wind, hail or snow to train to meet my personal target of 4 hours.  Your support in donating will spur me on during the tough winter nights right through to the finsh line.
