Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As some of you may know a good friend of mine, Jim Cooper, died on 30th June from a Brain Tumour. For the last 6 months of his life Jim was cared for at the Martlets Hospice in Hove, East Sussex. The Hospice played a vital role in helping Jim to live life as fully as he could right up to the end. The Martlets care for people in the Sussex area but it is not part of the NHS. They receive 30% of their funding from the NHS but that leaves them with a shortfall of £3 million per year. The remainder of the funding is made up of donations and sponsored activities throughout the year. I have been 'press ganged' into participating in a 13 mile sponsored walk along the Sussex coast on Sunday 4th October 2009 and I would be grateful if you could make it worthwhile by sponsoring me.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So please dig deep and donate now.
Many thanks,
John
