I'm back again looking for your financial support.

I am really excited about the challenge of running my second Marathon in 6 months ( well it seemed a good idea at the time) and in raising funds for a local cancer charity here in Scotland at the same time.

Let me do the marathon for you and together we'll beat my 3.46 clocked at Edinburgh this year.

I'll be proudly wearing my club Carnegie Harriers colours this time - so no excuse for not cheering me on ( though  the stick instict man with inflamed blue ball) will never be far from my thoughts........

No official target to raise though would ideally like to raise £100 for Prostate Scotland with your help.

I'll have the fun bit (running).  All I need is your dosh. £2 minimum to be exact. I appreciate I am asking you to Dig Deep again so a big thank you in advance from me and from Prostate Scotland - every penny does make a difference.

For all the latest news on my marathon training, highs and low, visit my Facebook blog.

Now the serious stuff.........

Prostate cancer is more common than you think - about 1 in 2 men will be affected by prostate disease during their lives - In Scotland 1 in 12 men will develop prostate cancer during their life.  More information  can be found on the charity's web-site.

Along with your support again , we can help make a difference together with Prostate Scotland. Together, we managed to raise £540 in May for Prostate Scotland - so thank you to everybody who donated.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Prostate Scotland gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!

Thanking you in Advance
