This is my second Great North Run after completing last years course in 2:18:52  .My inspiration last year was my little Neice Summer who had gone through a Heart transplant operation even before her 2nd birthday .Sadly after doing so well for a year her new heart failed to function correctly which resulted in another Heart Transplant at the tender age of 3 .So Summer, you will be my inspiration this year again as you continue to show progress in your recovery and this year make sure you are there at the finish line to watch your old Uncle struggling to get over that finish line
