After many years of indulging my sense of well being with alcohol, crisps, coke and others such goodies being halfway to retirement and the kids going to school has kicked off a sense of midlifeness.
Therefore in time honoured tradition I have decided to do something aimed at convincing myself I am still young. Toughguy 2010.
I have been meaning to do something for Charity for a couple of years, since my mum died and this appears to be the opportunity, so any money anyone fancies donating is going to one of the charities that supported her. No worries if people don't I am pretty aware that if I sponsored everyone who asked I would be quickly bankrupt.
But if you find the idea of this fat old man hauling himself around a ten mile semi-aquatic assault course in late January amusing then make yourself known with a donation.
Should I get bored I might blog a bit about what is already quite a painful introduction to the world of training and the gym. And should the money get high enough (thinks of a ludicrous unlikely figure) say £1k I may even do it in one of those unitard things like in the photo.
