2019 Telefonica cycle challenge · 11 October 2019

We’re the only charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. That’s why we help children who’ve been abused to rebuild their lives, we protect children at risk, and we find the best ways of preventing child abuse from ever happening.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In October 2019 myself and 31 colleagues from across Telefonica Europe are cycling from our Head office in Madrid, Spain to our UK head office in Slough, a grueling ride covering approximately 430 miles over 4-5 days.

We are raising funds for our Charity partner - NSPCC

www.nspcc.org.uk

1. £5 could pay to answer one NSPCC Helpline call

2. £25 could pay for a trained practitioner to spend an hour with a family supporting parents to care for their children

3. £500 could pay for running the NSPCC helpling for one hour

4. £1,600 could pay to recruit, train and support a new volunteer

5. £30,000 for pay to run NSPCC Helpline for one day

O2 recognises that online safety as one of the top concerns for our customers and particularly parents across the UK. We have specifically focused on our partnership with the NSPCC (Stay Safe Online Campaign).

Thank you.

John.
