Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On Sunday 27th September I ran the New Forest Half Marathon, finishing in an official time of 2:05:02 Taking part in such an event was a wonderful experience and is something I'd encourage everyone to consider doing.
In taking part in the half marathon I hope to raise money for 209Radio, which is Cambridge's community radio station, operating on a not-for-profit basis and run, in the main, by volunteers. 209Radio has provided opportunities to a huge range of people and given them the training and support to make music, speech drama and comedy radio programmes of a very high quality and all on a voluntary basis because they believe in the station and have passion and talent to make 209Radio what it is today. Community radio stations provide opportunities and transferable skills to people who work full or part-time, people who have few skills or qualifications, academics and those with learning needs, young and old, in fact anyone who has something to say and wants to help others by saying it.
