The Jubilee Sailing Trust gives disabled and able-bodied people the chance to crew a sea voyage in one of their superb square-riggers. Yes, even those in wheelchairs are hoisted up into the rigging to trim the sails! Jonathan & Joseph spent time helping to build the Tenacious. Now I have pledged to raise £1000 for them this year in Joseph's memory..
So - Today (13th Dec) I set out to run 10.5Km (6.55 miles or a 1/4 marathon!) It was very cold, drizzled intermittently & the paths through woodlands were MUDDY - at times over my ankles. I have never run so far before - BUT I MADE IT!!! It took 1hr 10mins 20 secs. Thank you all so much for your support which really helped me keep going.
