For those of you who don't know me I'm an operational manager working for BT Technology, Service & Operations.

Now for some real honesty I am about 4 – 5 Stone overweight!!!

Due to this, I am about to embark on an attempt to lose some or all of this excess. 

As most of you will already know in August 2007 I suffered a severe stroke. Due to the dedication of the STROKE team in the Western General in Edinburgh I managed to make a very good recovery. Here is where you come in. I would very much appreciate if you could pledge a small donation to my collection that will be sent to this hospital as a thank you for all their fine work.

You may ask why I have waited so long to do this? The easy answer I suppose was I never felt comfortable and excepting of my situation until now.

I plan to begin this campaign on Monday 07 January. I have also roped in a few of my colleagues to take the journey with me.
