Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My mum, Liz, sadly died of cancer last October. She was young - just 59 - and we all miss her terribly.
Six months previously, she was fit and well. Tragically, she was diagnosed with a brain tumour and six short months later, she died.
She spent her last few weeks at a small hospice in Jarrow called St Clare's. The care and comfort that she received from the nurses and doctors at St Clare's was second to none. It is for this reason that I am running in memory of my mum, and to raise as much money as I can for St Clare's Hospice.
With your generosity, you can help me to make a big difference to other people, old and young, who are dying of cancer at St Clare's.
My training starts now! It will be with great pride, and with lovely memories of my mum, that I will present the hospice with your generously given money.
THANK YOU ALL VERY MUCH!
