Yay another half marathon done (a bit slower this time I'm afraid, 2 hours 39 mins) and a whole lot more money raised for the amazingly good cause that is the Medical Foundation for the care of victims of torture. I am really pleased that there is now a new Medical Foundation centre in Birmingham, which I had the privilege of seeing for myself at their recent open evening. The staff, volunteers and most of all the people that are helped there, are a testament to the strength and kindness that we are all capable of.
