As you know, once a year I like to come begging cap in hand to raise some money for a good and worthy cause.

Last year was my first experience of Triathlon in aid of Diabetes UK.

This year, I'm taking the plunge (quite literally) and jumping out of an aeroplane from 12,000 feet. From my years flying an aircraft, it seemed a natural progression!

Having recently become a father for a second time, something for which I am extremely grateful, I have chosen this years cause to be the Sheffield Children's Hospital Charity.

I've not had direct experience with my children there, and hope that I never have cause to. However the work they do is tremendous and this is a great opportunity to help children and families less fortunate. Please give generously!
