My story

2012 marks the 60th anniversary of Kathleen Ferrier and Gerald Moore's Scarborough concert and the 100th anniversary of Ferrier's birth.  International artists, Anna Stephany and Simon Lepper, winners of the Kathleen Ferrier and Gerald Moore Awards respectively, will recreate the 1952 concert at its original venue.

One of the greatest and most loved contraltos of the 20th century, Kathleen Ferrier died of breast cancer in 1953 at the age of 41.  The proceeds of the concert will be divided between three cancer charities.  St Catherine's Hospice, Scarborough is one of those designated charities.  Your support is greatly appreciated.
