children. Its donations aim to maximise the potential of these children
and to improve the quality of their lives and the lives of their
families, teachers and carers. They achieve this through actively
encouraging participation from supporters, both corporate and
individuals, as well as sponsorship of their exceptional fundraising
events.
Vision also aims to pioneer schemes which will have a real impact on children and youth. These initiatives seek to level the playing field for blind, visually impaired and dyslexic children in the mainstream community. One such project, SchoolsRadio.com http://www.schoolsradio.com/, launched by Vision at the House of Commons by 2 Secretaries of State, encourages ALL children in ALL schools to make 'programmes'.
