2011 UPDATE!! For the THIRD time a team of us have run and walked one of the world's toughest half marathons, the Safaricom Lewa Marathon, in the bush on 25 June.  

We also raise funds through our Safaricom Family Challenge, taking place this year on Sept 10th and 11th, a huge thanks to all the 48 teams who have entered and all their supporters!

Last year between both events we raised over 1,000 pounds through justgiving and Bread and Water for Africa,  for my tiny mental health NGO Kamili (www.kamilimentalhealth.org) through all your kind donations, this helped keep our clinics going for a month. We now have over 1600 patients and we see more every month.

Kamili is very kindly supported by Bread and Water for Africa UK. 100% of your donation will go towards a specific activity aimed to improve awareness of mental health issues in impoverished communities in Kenya and help improve the lives of those suffering.
