8 weeks ago I was asked by my friend, Kate Adams, if I would take her place in the London Marathon to run on behalf of Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation as unfortunately she is now unable to take part.

This charity is very close to Kate and her family’s heart as her dear Mum was diagnosed with the disease a year ago.

I, like Kate, have done countless half marathons and crawled around my first full marathon just before Christmas last year. I know what to expect (I hope) and will fly around the streets of London on the 22nd April (I hope).

Please help me raise money for The Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation supporting the fight to defeat lung cancer.Anything you can give would be truly appreciated by Kate, her family and I. Please dig deep and help me raise as much as we can for this cause!
