Stop press: Kate and Lex are going to cycle London to Cardiff 30th May - 2nd June!!

The main focus of my fundraising is going to be this mammoth cycle ride!!  With the brilliant help of Lex Mitton, we are planning to cycle from London, through Reading, Bristol, Bath and onto Cardiff in 4 days.  That's 200 miles, 2 girls and a whole lot of cycling based pain!  Please sponsor us generously for this event - all money goes towards the project and any donation is gratefully received.

 

I am raising money for a great opportunity that I have been given - I am going to Egypt in the autumn to help work and support a development project in a rural area of Upper Egypt.  It's a fantastic opportunity - myself and five other young women (all guide leaders as well) will be going out for 4 weeks to use our guiding skills to work with young women in Egypt.  We will be running workshops, camps and activity days focusing on leadership, employment and business skills to a group of women who don't always have access to education and training.
