Hey everyone,

Thank you so much for all your support over the past months. Th marathon was an amazing experience, like one huge party! The crowd were insane and really kept all the runner going! I completed the 26.2miles in 4hours 39minutes, a time I'm really happy with! I really enjoyed the whole day!

Big love to you all!xxx

Thanks for all your kind donations so far, i hope 2010 is shaping up to be a good year for you!

Here is some astonishing information about the Air Ambulance:

The objectives of the Charity are the emergency relief of sickness and injury, and the protection of human life, by the provision of an air ambulance for the benefit of the population of Dorset and Somerset.

Since its launch it has attended over 6000 missions a lot of them lifesaving. The air ambulance is deployed on average 3-4 times per day, it can reach anywhere in the two counties within 19 minutes of the emergency call.  It is already proven that Air ambulances save lives and are an essential way of transporting seriously ill or injured patients to the most appropriate hospital to their needs in record time.

To ensure that this vital, life saving service continues flying the charity needs to raise in excess of £3,500 per day, with NO support from the Government or the National Lottery, relying solely upon voluntary donations to keep this essential service flying. Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance. 2009.
