Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In June 2012 our beautiful daughter Lily was still born 6 days past her due date.
She was one of the 16 babies a day that don't make it.
I was one of the mums who left the hospital that day with empty arms.
Kicks count is a volunteer run charity that encourage pregnant mums to monitor their unborn babies movements with the hope to reduce the number of babies that don't make it from 16 a day.
I often think that had i known about this in 2012, then perhaps this week I too would be with the tearful mums at the gate sending my Lily into her first day of school.
Please help me support this charity by donating whatever you can support - no matter how big or small.
To give you an idea of where your money will go -
- Just £5 allows Kicks Count to print enough leaflets for midwives to hand to 350 mums
- £60 allows kicks Count to send 10 midwives “Kicks Count packs” so that they can spread the word to all the mums they meet
- £1,000 allows Kicks count to redevelop our phone app which is free for expectant mothers to download and keep track of their baby’s movements
- £1,700 allows Kicks count to have a stand at the Royal College of Midwives conference to get over 700 midwives to pass our information to mums
Please visit their website -

and Facebook.
I read EVERYDAY stories from mums who counted the kicks during pregnancy and noticed and reported the change in their babies movements. they went on to deliver healthy babies to be told by the professionals, "had you not come in when you did, you baby would not have made it"
