Virgin London Marathon 2010 · 25 April 2010 ·

Action for Southern Africa (ACTSA) campaigns with the people of Southern Africa as they strive to build a better future. Working for rights, equality and sustainable development across the region. ACTSA is the successor organisation to the Anti-apartheid movement.

Story

So, last year I decided to run the London marathon. I didn't seriously think I would get a place...but I did!!

I have chosen to raise money for ACTSA (Action for South Africa). It is a charity that promotes peace and democracy throughout southern Africa, whilst collaborating with a number of other organisations in areas of development and equality, such as the 'stop AIDS campaign' and 'stamp out poverty'.

Anyway, I'm really not that great at running and I'm not aiming for a time. I'm simply aiming to finish.

Any contribution that you can make would be fabulous, but please remember that it is a really long way!!

Thanks for your support in advance,

Kate xxx
