Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page for The Infant Trust.

You may remember me doing a sponsored silence for Rape Crisis South Africa a few years back after a South African friend of my Mum's emailed to say that her 12 year old niece had been raped by two men and to ask us to help in any way we could.  My Mum and I leapt at the chance to support this charity as we were both upset by recent stories about infant rape in South Africa. 

The Infant Trust aims to reduce infant rape everywhere, but its main work is in South Africa.  One of the things I am most impressed about it is that it supports local people and local organisations who are trying to make a difference in their very hard-pressed communities.  Much of the work is voluntary.  I can vouch for the fact that the money you give really makes a difference.
