In September I'm climbing Mount Mulhacén (3,482m) in the Spanish Sierra Nevada for St John's Hospice, a four day trip.
St John's Hospice is close to my heart, looking after over 600 patients and families every year. All the profits from the Hospital of St John and St Elizabeth, where I work, go to the hospice but it's not enough to keep the St John's running. We have to fundraise around £1million pounds a year.
If anyone is interested in joining me on this trip, contact me on 020 7806 4005. Otherwise, please donate as much as you can. The recession is hitting charities hard as everyone has cut back on spending, but the hospice is more busy than ever.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
