Click here are the photos of my head shaving...
At 2pm in Oxford on Saturday 16th July I am going to do a sponsored head shave for Asylum Welcome. Asylum Welcome is a charity that supports asylum seekers, refugees and immigration detainees in Oxfordshire. I have worked with Asylum Welcome in the past, and think that their work is really important. I particularly enjoyed visiting a local school in order to raise awareness about their work, and to dispel some of the myths about Asylum Seekers. They are helping some of the most vulnerable and ignored people in the country. As well as providing a free food cupboard for those who are destitute and forbidden to work, the charity provides invaluable help and advice. They organise regular visitors to detainees at Campsfield House in Kidlington, to support people who are otherwise completely alone.
Please give whatever you can, and do not hesitate to contact me if you would like any further information about Asylum Welcome.
Or alternatively, if you want more information about Asylum Welcome, look at their website below.
