I'm Climbing Kilimajaro in February to raise money for Just a Drop, a charity that aims to reduce child mortality by delivering accessible clean, safe water where it is needed most.
Just a Drop is a registered charity that raises money to build wells, install boreholes and hand pumps, and carry out sanitation and health education programmes in some of the poorest parts of the developing world.
A child dies every 20 seconds because of unsafe water. Just £1 can deliver safe water to a child for nearly 10 years.
To date Just a Drop has helped over 1 million children and their families in 29 countries.
Every project is supervised by an expert team of field engineers and undertaken with the support and engagement of the immediate community so that projects are based on local needs and the recipients are committed to their success and long-term maintenance.
