My grandparents were full-time workers for Church Army in the early part of the 20th century. They ran homes for unemployed and homeless men. My dad on his recent 90th birthday asked for donations to Church Army instead of presents. I have always been proud of my family heritage and now that I am celebrating a big birthday myself would also like to raise some money for an organisation which has been so significant to us.
