There are very few people who do not know someone that has had an accident resulting in an injury to the spine. In our case a close personal friend, Robert Alner, had a devastating road accident in November 2007 which was well publicised at the time and we know firsthand how it affects people’s lives and the changes that have to be made. Caroline, Claire and I have given ourselves the challenge of raising funds for Southern Spinal Injuries Trust in a fun and energetic way! We aim to climb the three highest peaks in the , starting with in , Scarfell Pike in the and in , all within 24 hours on .
