BirthLink is a UK registered charity providing support and education to Doctors, Nurses and Midwives in disadvantaged countries, where maternal and newborn care is severely compromised by lack of education and basic resources.
Every year over 4 million babies die in the first month of life, and 98% of these deaths occur in developing countries. Many of these deaths are preventable with better education and improved resources.
BirthLink is currently working on projects in Mongolia, Armenia, Nagorn Karabakh and Uganda. Through support and sponsorship we are hoping to raise further funds to continue these projects over the next 12 months.
Every £1.00 raised goes directly to these projects, so we would be very grateful if you can support us in this event.
