As a result of a collection tin for HULA (Homeless, Unwanted and Lost Animals) contaning at least £100 was stolen in February 2011 from my place of work (Mucky Pups Dog Grooming Salon in MIlton Keynes) we have decided to try new ways of raising money for this worthy charity.
Myself and Tanya Stevens (owner of Mucky Pups) have decided to complete a sponsored challenge. On the 28th of August 2011 we shall be doing a sponsored trek up Mount Snowdon with our dogs. We shall be taking the safest route for the dogs which is the Llanberis path which is approx 10 miles.
I decided to be a part of this as HULA do not recieve any government funding, they have a non-destroy policy for every healthy animal and since they were founded they have saved over 31,000 animals. I volunteered for a rescue for 8 years so know how much hard work and effort goes into keeping a rescue running smoothly and how much donations are needed and the difference that they make.
Every penny that is donated will be going straight to HULA and no matter how small or large your donation is it will all help this worthy charity greatly.
So please show your support by sponsoring us.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
