My story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As you know I like a challenge every now and again. So this time there are 4 of us doing a motorcycle ride from Tenterden in Kent to John O'Groats in Scotland and back in 2 days a journey of 1500 miles.

We would like to send a team out to Romania to once again help with the projects that Cry in the Dark are involved with. Helping sick and dying children  also young adults to live a comfortable life in their own homes is an important part of recovery for some and a chance to show love and kindness for others. to see more of what this deserving charity do please visit their website at:-

Cry In The Dark

Cry in the Dark was established in 1998. In 2000 it built and opened a home for 24 children with special needs in Comanesti Romania. Casa Lumina is a home for life for these children who are now fast becoming young adults. At Casa Lumina the young people are treated with respect and receive the care and stimulation that each young person requires. Cry in the Darks second project in Romania is The Hospice Casa Albert project (Albert's House) and is providing community palliative care to a growing number of children and young people with incurable physical conditions with poor life expectancy, for example, childhood cancers or Leukaemia, congenital conditions such as muscular dystrophy, and HIV/AIDS and TB.
