#STOP PRESS 3# - Keith completed the MdS in 53hrs 59mins 41 secs finishing 632nd out of 923 finishers.

#STOP PRESS 1# - Brett has been forced to drop out injured but keith continues, as does the fundraising.

#STOP PRESS 2# - at 20 March 2010 we have reached almost £15,000 the majority of which has been donated offline. We are well on the way to reaching our target and JustGiving remains very important to us.

After sitting on a two-year waiting list, we have been lucky enough to get places in the 25th Marathon Des Sables which starts 4th April 2010.

This ultra marathon endurance - described as "the Toughest Footrace on Earth" - event involves crossing c240 kilometres (c150 miles) of the Moroccan part of the desert in just 7 days. For more information on this grueling challenge please visit http://www.saharamarathon.co.uk/

We are raising money for the Douglas Macmillan Hospice, Donna Louise Children's Trust and Katharine House Hospice and have set ourselves an overall target of £30,000!

We would welcome your support so please donate whatever you can. Bureaucracy means we have to set-up a different JustGiving page for each charity so please bear this in mind if you would like to support a specific organisation.  This is the Donna Louise page and if you would like more infomation about their work please visit their website http://www.donnalouisetrust.org.uk

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - we raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thanks in anticipation for your support, we will need it!!
