Sunday, 15th November: Well, I survived! It was cold, wet & very, very windy - perfect weather for ghost hunting! Although I had trouble with the video camera (it gave up the ghost!), I did get some still photos, but it's hard to capture ghosties when they're being evasive (LOL). We were a mighty 18 in all and were split up into 3 groups to go through the house and have workshops. Dave, our medium, took one group. Mark, a sensitive, took another. John from The Falstaff's Experience, gave a workshop on dowing crystals and the use of a wineglass to ask yes / no questions. We had a very mischievous little girl named 'Lucy' who kept making the glass go in circles! The house was in darkness and we saw flashing lights (although nothing was actually lit). I felt a small hand pull on my little finger as if trying to remove a ring. I also felt a dog sniffing at my hand and then it licked it! There were no living animals in that building at that time. Spooky stuff, but lots of fun.

The work done at The Shakespeare Hospice is truly wonderful. They offer the highest standards of care for everyone touched by a life limiting illness, provided for the local (Stratford) area. This year marks their 10th Anniversary and to help celebrate, I'm going to sit in a 'haunted' building (Stratford's own Falstaff's Experience) for several hours with some like-minded people in the hopes of raising lots of dosh for this worthy cause. I may see something, I may not, but you can rest assured that I will be sitting there in the hopes that you will be willing to give some money to keep me there for the entire 4 3/4 hours! I will keep you updated in the lead-up to the event and also give you the low-down on what happened on Friday, 13th November. Mwua ha ha ha! (supposedly scary laugh).

13th November: Well, tonight's the night. The weather's supposed to be downright miserable. Perfect weather for ghost hunting, I'd have thought! Wish me luck . . . 11th November: The guest medium for the evening will be Dave Vickers who will lead us through this fun packed evening! The evening will include: Guest Medium, Platform mediumship demonstration, Historian to hand, tour with the medium, use of ghost-hunting equipment, vigils in the most haunted areas of the building, psychic workshops and some refreshments. We'll even get a certificate if we last the entire night! [cue Bach's Tocatta & Fugue . . .]
