Story

amazing !! :-):-):-):-)

amazing!!!! :-)

Jamie was born 3 months premature on 31/10/12. He lost his twin during pregnancy and had a very traumatic birth where either myself or Jamie should not of survived. The amazing team at nicu struggled to keep him alive for 5 Horus and didnt think he would survive the night. we had him blessed at his bed.

Since then we have come across many problems, his lungs collapsed at a few weeks old and we thought we were going to loose him again. We are now faced with chronic lung disease and cerebral palsy. He has been on cpap breathing machine for the best part of his life so far where he wears a mask and a hat which is very uncomfortable for him and not good for his development as he is a bigger baby now.

His lungs still have a lot of growing to do to improve And has recently been put on a fantastic machine called vapotherm that is much kinder to him and we can finally see his little face and head when we cuddle him.

Problem  is we only have the machine on loan for 4 weeks. myself and lee are desperately trying to raise £5000 to buy the machine so Jamie can stay comfortable for the the rest of his stay in hospital.

We think it will be months yet until he is home as his lungs need to develop a lot more. He has now been referred to great Ormond street.

This machine will also benefit other babies in nicu.

Please  give whatever you can to help our baby boy on his long road to recovery.

All funds will go direct to nicu l&d towards the vapotherm machine
