Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I'm taking part in the TriforLife Triathlon on 5th September 2010 and will be raising monies for the Emily Ash Trust. The Trust's primary aim is "to improve the lives of children and young adults suffering with cancer". The goal for the Trust for this year's event is to raise £50,000. If each of the 200 competitors (including me :-D) manage to raise £250 we will meet this target, please do help us.
So, the route, well first there's the swimming - 400m in an open water lake, then there's a 20km cycle & finally if my legs still work a 5km run.
Whilst I'm having a go at that my fantastic son Alex
has decided that he too wants to have a go so he'll be taking part in
the Scootathlon kids event which will mean he's Scooting 400m, Cycling
400m & finally a 200m Run. (you can sponsor him through this same page)
Please
be generous in your donation, and if you really want to see proof that I
can get into a wetsuit then please do come along to the lake at Dorney to cheers us
all along...
