As Captain at The Kendleshire this year I have decided to nominate PROPS as my Captain's charity and hope that you will be able to help me to raise as much as I can on their behalf,
PROPS is a great local organisation that Provides Opportunities and Support for children and young people with special needs.. Amongst their many initiatives they provide opportunities for social and educational interaction through sports, leisure and the performing arts.
However whether it be offering students the chance to attend an after school music technology club or providing work experience placements, all PROPS projects rely financially on the success of a variety of fund-raising activities that include a whole raft of sporting events such as rugby, cricket and golf......and that's really how I became aware of them. Having visited their current base at Briarwood School I've been able to see for myself the benefits PROPS projects can bring to all those involved and I am determined to do what I can to help them out.
