Deaf people are four times more likely to be unemployed.
2 million people have hearing aids but only 1.4 million use them

Action on Hearing Loss is the new name for RNID and we confirm merging with Deafness Research UK from April 2013. We're the charity working for a world where hearing loss doesn't limit or label people, where tinnitus is silenced – and where people value and look after their hearing.
