Kerry finished the London Marathon in 4 hours 4 minutes and 10 seconds. More pictures and a revised fundraising total will be uploaded soon.
Kerry says: 'Thank you so much to all of you who sponsored me. You are the real heroes, as it's your money that will enable Macmillan to change lives. Therefore, it's you who have made the difference.'
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As many of you will know, I've had a brain injury, but for me having to live with cancer would be unthinkable, and I am blessed that I don't have to do that. Watching those who have had to take up that fight continues to inspire me.
In acknowledgment of the continual need for funds for that fight, and with the help of many, I am running the London Marathon 2010 (my first ever Marathon) in aid of Macmillan cancer support. Some of you may remember the bicycle rides that David Harris and I did to Milan in 2002 and Gibraltar in 2003 for the then Cancerbackup, now merged with Macmillan. More on those here http://www.utilityspace.com/kerryrochester Anyhow, as long as I remember to turn up on the day (don't worry I'll have more than one person to remind me) I'll be there in London on April 25th! And, just like in 2002/3 I have the generous support of Martin Lynch & Sons www.hamradio.co.uk
Can you imagine living with cancer? Definitely a thought not to dwell on, but what if it was you or a loved one? Macmillan Cancer Support would be there for you, so please will you be there for them now?
