My story

This is the big FIVE ZERO year for me and I thought I would run over 50 miles in one go to celebrate - actually running 70 miles!  More importantly, over the last year I got to know an amazing lady who died after an inspirational fight with Pancreatic Cancer - her name is Wendy Butler.

Her husband Peter and her family established a blog to keep everyone focused and connected - http://wendysarmy.wordpress.com.  This was the formation of Wendy's Army.  I have been so inspired by Wendy and Peter that would like to use this event to raise funds for a charity I know they have close to their hearts.

Wendy's Army marches on!
