This year I'll be performing the unique feat of running a marathon with a long gap between the 13th and 14th miles. Technically this may be considered two half marathons but I was never one for the finer details.
I started my marathon in Sheffield on 25th April where I ran the first 13 and a bit miles on behalf of Cavendish Cancer Care, the charity of the year for the Irwin Mitchell Sheffield office. Cavendish are a South Yorkshire charity who work to help sufferers of cancer and their families get relief from this disease that will often take control of their life. All there services are provided free for whoever walks through the door. Visit the website where they can explain it all a lot better than I am able to
Please take some time to give a little it will all make a big difference to someone.
Thanks
Kev
ps
I finished the half marathon in 2 hours 02 minutes 52 seconds full evidence of my pain can be seen here
